The Clayton’s Christmas Open House
William and Florence Clayton and their children open their beautiful home to the community on this day for the best Victorian Christmas party ever!
There’s something for everyone to enjoy, from the warm apple cider and cookies, to visiting with Santa, touring the florist-decorated parlors, and crafting a Victorian tree ornament. Step back to Christmas Eve 1884 with the performance of the Clayton Family Christmas vignette — you’ll love the nostalgia! (performances at 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m.) At 3 p.m., the mansion will be filled with the fabulous harmonies of the Fort Smith Chorale, singing all the season’s traditional songs. Pianist Bill Murray will bring the 1884 piano to life beginning at 2 p.m. See you soon!
